Disc Displacement: The cushioning discs within the TMJ may shift out of place, causing the jaw to lock and creating a feeling of it being stuck.

Muscle Tension: Increased stress and tension in the jaw muscles can contribute to episodes of jaw locking, making movement uncomfortable or restricted.

I was grinding teeth with mouth pieces made at the dentist offices that didn't help with my other issues. HEADACHES, not sleeping, jaw popping, pain in right ear, sinus issues.
